Fresh Grounded Faith
This past weekend, my mom, sister and I went to a Fresh Grounded Faith Conference founded by Jennifer Rothschild in Springfield, MO. It is similar to Women of Faith conferences but not as big. Jennifer Rothschild was the speaker(phenomenal Christian author and speaker), Stormie Omartian(author of the Power of a Praying books) shared her amazing testimony, and Michael O'Brien(former lead singer of NewSong) led worship music. Let me just say talk about a fabulous time of fellowship in the Lord with 2,000 women! It definitely was refreshing for my faith in God;) Another cool thing about this conference was that we got to see my sister working in action for the first time as Jennifer Rothschild's new personal assistant! It has been amazing to see how God is moving in her life and the places He is taking her!

A Princess Tea Party
My niece had a tea party for her 4th birthday. There was so much pink and pretty girly things. The girls, mothers, and grandmothers had so much fun! The girls dressed all up, got to dine with fine china, eat yummy orderves, and make some darling crafts. I can't wait to do this with Brianna. As I was showing Brianna how to sip her tea and keep her napkin on her lap, I thought how neat it would be to have mother/daughter tea parties to teach young girls good etiquette. That's something that seems forgotten now days.
I Watch That No More!
My baby is getting so big and so tall! She is nearly 2 1/2 years old and she looks like she's 4. My husband came home the other night and said he heard that if you measure your 2 year old's height and then double it that is how tall he/she will be as an adult. Look out my little Bri-b, you are going to be 6 feet tall! Her vocabulary and sentences have quadrupled in the last couple of months. She almost has the English language down=). Some of the precious things she says is just so stinkin' cute! If she doesn't want to watch a cartoon anymore she says "I watch that no more mommy" and other things she says are "I want that no more" and my favorite is "I do nothing momma" when in fact she is doing something momma has told her not to do. It is also so precious when she says "Jesus help you not be scared", something mommy has lately been reminding her of on a daily basis;) If she wants the door open she says to close it and if she wants up on the bed she says she wants down. Something she has said for a long time is "I want to hold you" when she wants to be held. She loves to sing her A,B,C's all day long and color in her coloring book. She is already focusing on coloring inside the lines! Some of her favorite shows are Imagination Movers, Fresh Beat Band, and Yo Gabba Gabba. She is just full of spunk, joy, and laughter! We just love her so much.

Contagious and Scrumptious
My dad is just crazy about this baby girl and she is quite smitten with him too! She can be in the middle of a catastrophic crying fit. But, if grandpa walks into her view, she suddenly smiles from ear to ear with her little dimple demanding a smile from everyone around her=)

Do it!
The other night, from 2-4 in the morning, Brianna kept getting out of her bed to get in our bed. I was already squished with Kate snuggling next to me and my hubby on the other side. I wasn't up to packing another body in it. It was a rough night needless to say. Previous nights Brianna has been successful getting in bed with us because we do not wake up. In the morning, we're all packed like sardines and Brianna has her legs resting on daddy's head and chest.=) So, the following morning from being up with her all night, I asked her why she kept getting out of her bed. She said her usual "I don't know" when I ask her a why question. I know I'm just training her and waiting for that day to come when she asks me a 1000 why questions. But then, she suddenly repeated to me what I've been saying to her since she was born=) It was so stinkin' cute I just had to share it! Pardon my cackling witch laugh at the end.
Daddy was pretty impressed!

Almost Triplets
Brianna recently got to visit her twin cousins who were born four days after her. It is so cute to watch them together since she realized the twins are fun to play with now. They did a lot of running around grandma and grandpa's house screaming and playing outside. When Brianna wanted the girls' attention, she would holler "twins!"
